Happy Monday from all of us at Prudential Myrtle Beach Real Estate. We want to thank everyone who helped make our Charity Chili Cook off a success this weekend. There was a lot of great chili, creative booths and hard work from everyone! Thank you to every one of our amazing chili chefs who helped make the event a success.

The winner for Overall Best Chili was David Mackey who donated back half of his winnings to Wounded Warriors. People's Choice and Most Creative both went to CASA's booth with both prizes donated directly to CASA.

Our agents and staff worked very hard helping everyone get set up and clean up after the event, thanks so much to Anne, Charlie, Jacie, Judy, Kaci, Nigel, Alex, Mike, David, Mason, Kevin and their families who gave of their time and help to come out support the Wounded Warriors and CASA as well as Connie and Michele who came out to show their support and sample some chili.

We would like to extend our gratitude to our judges who gave their time and their valued chili opinions in support  these two local charities. Our local celebrity judges included Chef James Clark from the Marina Inn Grande Dunes, Chef Brad Daniels from Croissants Bistro and Bakery and Michael Maely, Main Anchor with WMBF News.

Don Corrinna with Wounded Warriors was in attendance and CASA was proudly represented by Sissy Rutherford. We would also like to thank our Broker, Marvin Heyd, who helped organize the event and raise funds as well as entering a chili of his own, Anne Laymon, our office manager who helped us all stay on task, and Nigel Horonzy for helping raise funds and locating a venue.

Thank you to Broadway at the Beach for hosting the event. REMN, SCBT and Home Instead also had great decorated tables and some pretty rocking chili!

Last, but not least, we would like to thank our sponsors, whom we couldn't have done without. A special thanks to REMN, Murray Law Offices, Platinum Rentals, A&I Fire Restoration, Benny Rappa's, Flagship Construction, AHS Home Warranty, Burroughs and Chapin and A.O. Hardee and Sons.

Thank you everyone for helping make this a success and reality and we look forward to another successful and even larger chili cook off next year!

Thank you all for a wonderful and fun event. We really enjoyed it and of course loved winning some $$$. CASA appreciated your hard work and so do I. It really means a lot when the community and different companies come together to support the charities that provide services to them. Let us know if you need anything at all from us. Also, I saw someone taking pictures, any chance I can get one or two of the CASA booth? or any you have. Thanks again.
