Cherry Grove

When you think of a quiet, family friendly, oceanfront community, Cherry Grove fits the bill. Cherry Grove, also know as Cherry Grove Beach, is a peaceful oceanfront community in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Cherry Grove is famous for it's fishing pier and it's unique and beautiful saltwater channels that flow in and out of neighborhoods and marshes. The Cherry Grove Fishing Pier was originally built in the 1950's and has weathered many storms in it's time. It was remodeled and lengthened in 1999 after Hurricane Floyd.

Cherry Grove Beach was originally a town of it's own but in 1968 it merged with Windy Hill Beach, Crescent Beach, and Ocean Drive Beach to form the city of North Myrtle Beach. Cherry Grove is conveniently tucked away in the northern end of North Myrtle Beach, SC and easily accessed from Highway 17 and Sea Mountain Highway. It lies along Hwy 9 and SC 65. Cherry Grove is unique in the fact that it is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean on one side and Hog Inlet with all of it's channels and creeks bordering the other side.
