If you are a seller looking to sell your home in the fall and winter months, you may be looking for a few helpful tips to nudge your home to the front of the line. Here are three things that are a sure bet to help your home stand out and help you get a better price.

  1. Create a cozy smell! Vanilla warming in the oven is one of my favorites! Just a few teaspoons of pure vanilla extract in an oven on low will make your home smell warm and inviting.
  2. Tidy up the yard. Curb appeal rules. If your leaves are raked, your yard is tidy and your landscaping is well cared for and well lit, you will surely get drive by buyers turning their heads.
  3. Put up seasonal decorations. Create the feeling of home for your potential buyer. if they can see themselves spending the holidays there, they are more likely to write an offer.
